2024 RIVALS: Five-Star

Through RCX Sports, I was tasked with the creative direction for the 2024 RIVALS: Five-Star camp in Jacksonville, FL. RIVALS: Five-Star is an annual camp showcasing the country's top 100 high school football prospects.
At the camp, athletes participate in 7-on-7 tournaments, individual drills, and one-on-one challenges against other top athletes. My job was to design the players’ jerseys for the various events, tents, banners, backdrops, awards, and additional event products.
This year’s class is filled with future stars, including Julian Lewis, Jahkeem Stewart, Tavien St. Clair, Deuce Knight, and Keelon Russell.

Working on a project with elite athletes is incredibly rewarding. Knowing several of these guys will make it to the NFL and potentially be future Pro Bowlers or Hall of Famers humbles me. The team at Yahoo! made things seamless, and being able to roll out the new RIVALS rebrand was rewarding as well. I love the look we established with the earth tones and monochromatic feel, and the noise textures and use of the star icon on the jerseys turned out nice. There was lots of great feedback from this event and I’m just happy to play a small part in it.
